I don't feel this vegas trip is fair to the wives that have children on a full time basis.
I do know that there is a holidayworld event that me and my children would enjoy but it was denied approval!!!!!!!
Thank for being family oriented!!!

I agree with the anonymous person. Some wives have children 24/7 and they home no control over that. And plus you have to consider the fact that it is not only the wives going through this but also the children who are old enough to understand why their mom or dad had is gone.

Just to answer some of your concerns. There is a trip that I am working on for the families. It is set for Sept. or Oct. We have alot of people in the FRG that do not have children or that are not with them all the time that have to be considered as well. We do alot of things that are family oriented and they feel left out bc they do not have children. We are trying to serve both the families that have children as well as the ones without.

Jenny Tracy here and I want to break the tension if I may. Please know that our FRG serve many types of families (single, married, dating, parents, grandparents, divorced, widowed, no soldier invovled). Our FRG and its members are always allowed to state their opinions about feelings and emotions. WE ARE AN OPEN GROUP. I beleive constructive criticism is a must in order to better ourselves and provide the best service. I do beleive, however, that any one that has an opinion should state a solution as a way to make it better. Anonymous mentioned a trip to Holiday World, but then mentions it was denied approval. I was a bit taken a back by this as in this FRG I have not heard of Holiday World trip being disapproved. With this said, I am assuming you are speaking about the an Alpha Battery FRG member plan to host a Holiday World event. Again, I do not have all the details so I do not want to misrepresent anything. I do know (as I mentioned in our last meeting) that we (HHSB) is working with the 76 HHC FRG group in putting together a summer event for both the North families and the South families (Holiday Wolrd). So we are absolutely doing things that are family orientated. Lastly, I would like to comment that this Vegas Trip is availabe to anyone and I am considering taking Bolton (my 3 year old) along with me as Annual Training starts that weekend so my husband will be gone. So who says Vegas is not for kids? I think we all need to take a breath here and know that our intentions are always pure from the heart and our actions are to support our family members. I would encourage Anonymous and Anoyonmous Supporter to approach me as I would love to add you to our Special Events team. We need people who are eager to make a difference and plan great events. With your desire to make things fair and fun, I would love to have you a part of the HHSB team. Come forward as we can use your skills....

Take care!

Jenny Tracy

Welcome Home To Desert Wolves and Ruff Ryders

As the year wraps up, we are proud that all of the Desert Wolves and Ruff Ryder units made it home safe and sound from Iraq. We thank you for your service in an area that is sometimes not appreciative of what you are doing for them. Our freedom is safe because of men and women like yourselves that volunteerily put yourself in harms way to ensure freedom for the rest of us. Us at HHB hope that your transition will be a safe one and that you and your families will be able to enjoy the holidays more. Thank you again for your service to our country and WELCOME HOME!!!
